Georgia Livieri is an Ethicist with a specialisation in Digital Health Ethics. She holds a degree from the Faculty of Philosophy and a Master’s in Moral Philosophy, jointly offered by the University of Peloponnese and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her expertise is further enriched by advanced training in Digital Ethics, Global Bioethics, Health Ethics and Law, Human Rights, AI Ethics, and Public Policy through prestigious programs held in Germany, Austria, Cyprus, and the United States (in-person), as well as in Norway and Australia (online).

Ms Livieri is pursuing a PhD in Bioethics and Public Health Policy at the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, Cyprus University of Technology. Her doctoral research focuses on digital health ethics, aiming to develop a bioethics model that supports ethically aligned technology acceptance grounded in human rights principles. Her research has been awarded funding by the Leventis Foundation for its innovative approach, which is rooted in the international and interdisciplinary composition of her three-member Advisory Committee. The committee includes Professor of Applied Ethics Dr Evangelos D. Protopapadakis (Greece), Professor of Computer Science Dr Eleni Mangina (Ireland), and Associate Professor in Public Health Dr Andrie Panayiotou (Cyprus). She is also a Research Associate at the Cardiovascular Epidemiology and Genetics Research Lab at the Cyprus University of Technology and the Applied Philosophy Research Lab at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Additionally, she contributes to the Hellenic Association of Political Scientists (HAPSc) as a researcher.

Currently, she serves as an Ethics Manager, where she ensures adherence to ethical standards in projects funded by the European Union. She also leads the Executive Committee of the Cyprus Bioethics Unit under the International Chair in Bioethics (Haifa, Israel). In her role as an Ethics Educator, she facilitates interdisciplinary training seminars, equipping researchers with the knowledge and tools to navigate ethical challenges in their work. Furthermore, she serves on the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Society of Pharmaceutical Medicine (EL.E.F.I.), demonstrating her commitment to advancing ethical practices in healthcare and research.
